Stuttering Problem - Self Analysis

My recent Visa Interview

I appeared for the US visa interview at the US embassy about 3 weeks ago. I had completed the formalities for it about 2 months prior to that, and for a change I had no fears whatsoever. My experience

A Self Analysis - Before and after Therapy

Hi! Let me introduce myself. I am Subramanian. I am 35 years old. I do not exactly remember as to when I had the stammering problem or how the problem started. I had this problem since my early schooling days. Because of the stammering, I always hesitated to talk in the class or respond voluntarily the answers to the questions put by the teachers all the times, though occasionally I did answer few of them since I was good at studies right through out my schooling and thereafter, it was not difficult to get along with the teachers. My Stammering History

I have been stammering since I was two and half years old, after an attack of very high fever. My earliest memories of stammering are from the age of 5 yrs. Self analysis of speech

My stammering became noticeable when I was six or seven years of age. At this age self realization not being too strong corrective measures were not adopted to correct it, moreover the atmosphere at home being too tense and the mother being too strict, speech fluency further deteriorated. (more…)

A look into my past…
